David Woods, Ph.D., is a researcher at the Wisconsin Center for Education Research at the University of Wisconsin, and lead developer of Transana: a specialized software tool for qualitative research that is used by Situated Research for usability research.
Dr. Woods holds a Bachelors, Masters, and Ph.D. in Psychology from Northwestern University, and has worked on a number of major software development projects using a broad range of technologies. His specialties include interactive web and client-server software development that facilitates education, education research, and the qualitative analysis of video and audio data.
